I also don't believe Flash is going bye bye anytime soon on the PC. Especially, where steaming video is concerned. That is as long as the Flash player is still supported by all the major PC browsers. And until the same browsers agree on at least one single HTML5+ video format supported by all.
In fact, I don't even bother with multiple video formats on my website or in Dropbox. Just use a single MP4 encoded video file which is streamed via Flash for all PC desktop browsers, and the same MP4 streamed using HTML5 for mobile devices such as for iOS or Android, using a simple Javascript file to determine which player to use based on the device. This covers vast the majority of current users.
