....The only thing that has changed is that Dish tech came out to the house and installed a new HD dish on the house and then setup the receiver for the new dish. Don't know if he could have done anything to the receiver that would affect the Tailgater....

We have a Tailgater and when we are at our home base that has a regular dish the 211 automatically recognizes the dish without any problems, when we go back to the Tailgater it changes back to that programing.
To the OP the service person should not have had to do anything to the receiver to make it work on a standard dish it's all automatic.
