Tell me why they won't interchange???
I have access to several sat dish's, both in Direct TV and Dish TV brands, that are of the oval design/same size etc. I like the Dish brand adjustments for tilt/angle and skew better than the Direc...

Well guys,
Thanks for the info, I tried.
After spending a day tearing several dish's apart (both brands) and checking/measureing the LBN arms/attachments etc, I found out that Dish brand backing plate/part will NOT fit a Direct TV dish, hole spacing was not correct and the LNB arms are shorter and not the correct size to hold the Direct TV LNB arms etc.
FYI, the Direct TV dish is a 2006 PH I Multi-sat dish w/3 LNB heads, is the one I was attempting to convert.
So it's back to the Direct TV dish for now.
