It was always bad for us to depend on the WIFI services around the camp gorunds we go to and of course when camping off thepower grid like we do alot where there is definitely no WIFI servcie available. OUr best deal was to get the VERIZON MIFI back them and still have it today... Back then it $27 for a 3GB dataplan plan. It seems like most of these sevices are now going for around $50-$60 a month for 5GB dataplans. We found VERIZON being the best carrier for the way back in the woods places we go to... Now we don't worry about poor WIFI services here and there. The VERIZON MIFI unit for us is also a great back-up internet that always seems to work whereever you are located at. Certainly replaces my old days NETZERO Dial UP backup internet...
When we are sitting on the beaches watching the surf come in the small MIFI units slips right into your shirt pocket and runs all of the WIFI enabled Tablets etc you brought with you.
ALot of folks really like the Millenicom Mobile PRE-PAY Internet system which uses the VERIZON Network.
