We had one near-instant deflation due to road debris. The notification from the TPMS was immediate and I was able to get stopped on the should before anything blew or any damage occurred (other than to the tire, of course, which was ruined). The way I look at it, the TPMS paid for itself with that one incident (TireMinder). I had one previous overheating alert. It was on sticky black asphalt ona 100+ degree day. We pulled over for a while, checked pressures (they were OK), and slowed down when we rolled again.
