Thinking about purchasing the TireMinder TPMS. Package from Camping World comes with booster. While I have a very short TT, if I do use the booster, is this a direct connect to the battery? Is there any way to connect that will 'shut off' when not in use. I think I've seen mentioned that someone connected into running lights but not sure I want to have lights on all the time.
I have a 12 cig type outlet at the rear of my Van so I mounted my repeater there and put a 12V plug on it so I simply plug it in when towning (only have the sensors on the TT). As a option where ever you plan to get your power simply use one of the 2 conductor connectors like shown below and available at your local auto parts store and then you can plug it in when you need the repeater.

Note make sure the +12V side to the battery is the female end of the connector.
