Microsoft's support for Windows XP ends tomorrow.

The update pain won't be felt today... it will be felt starting in May or June when the bad guys start disassembling updates in the subsequent patches and see if they work on XP.
I'm sure there will be some AV maker who will sell a product whose sole purpose is to try to help keep XP protected, although in the meantime, I'd move from MSE to Bitdefender, Malwarebytes, or another highly rated program.
