Tracking a phone.... Following a loved ones location

Only thing I know of is "find my iPhone" which is built into the OS and not an app. Don't know about android.

Several but are these family members or are they strangers and do you have permission.

My cell phone is dual tracked but you need permission on one of the apps and a code word on the other.. Only selected folks get the code word.

IF you are an authorized person one such app is LOOKOUT, this is an anti-mal-ware app as well.. (Anti-Virus) I know it is for Droid. I can log in and tell it to find my phone. does a fairly good job. also makes the phone very very loud and alarming and can .. If I ask it to,, Turn the phone into a paperweight (Brick it).
