Could you clarify please? You say you have good numbers on the TV but not on the receiver. You should only be looking at the numbers from your receiver on the TV so I don't know where the 2 sets of numbers are coming from.
Do you have the receiver set to match your antenna type in the Repeat Satellite Setup routine? While in there, are you seeing numbers when you go to Signal Strength and then Signal Meter? What power inserter are you using and where is it located? Are you using a SWM splitter? What receiver model? Any other info?
sorry for the confusion. When i said i had good #'s on the TV i'm talking about the signal strengths that are displayed on the TV when in the satellite setup menu. These #'s come from the receiver i assume. For example, in the sat setup menu there is a display for sat 101 that shows the signal strengths for all 32 transponders. These signal strengths are the #'s i'm referring to (as well as the signal strengths for sats 103 and 99).
The receiver is set to match my dish type. It's the same as the dish i have at home and i've used this setup when camping before with it set up as it is now.
The power inserter is the same as i have at home and is properly connected to the receiver and is sitting right next to the receiver. There is no splitter being used. i've used the same cabling, connections, equipment, etc. that i have used before successfully.
