To me WIN8.1 and WIN10 are basically the same, both work for me but the download time was excessive for 10 IMHO. The only real problem I have is that my programs with the exception of Office are not MS based programs and both 8 and 10 are almost proprietary, everything defaults to MS programs or sponsored programs. Learning how to use 10 is going to be a long slow process for me. I hate just pushing buttons to see what happens and that is what you end up doing as there isn't any information on using other programs or screens, even the Getting Started is geared toward using MS programs and doesn't address the fact that we may not like what we see on the windows.
Bottom line, it's working fine for me and eventually I'll hate it when MS decides to issue a new and improved OS and I have to give up 10.
