tulsa CW

we bought our first camping trailer. it need some work and we knew that going in . the front driver side had some water damage. fixing all but the rubber roof was straight forward. the area to be repaired was cover the radio antenna that i removed as it was water leak or next to it.

camping seller #1 - buy dicor patch kit only way to fix or to replace the full roof..... new roof was their point.

camping seller #2 he tried to sell me a scrap piece of dicor roofing and the contact cement i could see through this just form logic

tulsa CW .... a younger man took me through the replacement of bath vent, showed me what to do to replace the range vent, how to seal both and talked about dicor sealer, etc. then about the water damaged area .... sold me on the use of repair tape that he sold by the foot $6. vs about $40 for the kit. talked about use of the dicor sealer under the vents vs use of the plumber's putty materials. he was very knowledgeable and helpful. we got to the register and stated that price was wrong on the toilet vent and so adjusted price down. He then gave 10% discount as a new customer. packed up a catalog to go with me. he saved me several dollars and built some confidence that a place in town knew what they were talking about......and wanted to treat the customer right. they have my business from now on.

for this 62 year old it was nice to have a very helpful person in the parts area.
