TV ant. Probleem

I'm having a problem using the ant for the TV, In order to trouble shoot the circuit, I need to know, what can I expect if the ant amp is bypassed.
There is only one tv in the trailer so I can't substitute tv's

  • I don't know, I've never tried to bypass the amp - why would you? At home I dumped cable TV for over the air HDTV after having such good luck with it in the MH. At home the over the air antenna came with one amp and I installed an amplified splitter. With both of them we get a decent signal.

  • a weaker signal
which may or may not change the reception
depends on how far you are from the transmitters
if the amp is bad, and there is sufficient broadcast signal, you will get a picture when you bypass it
