Regarding this statement, are you using your cell phone for internet access at home? This is something we were thinking about too as we don't know where we'll eventually end up. Thanks.

Yes, we use the cell phones as hot spots to use our laptop and everything else is done on tablets. We use Redbox rentals for movies so no data is burned watching movies.
Had Hughesnet years ago but if the wind blew you would lose connection and data restriction was rediculous. We also paid close to $200 a monh for that service. Verizon has been great for us just relearn to not use high data applications and you shouldn't have an issue. Oh, I have two teenagers who also use our service and still never have exceed 10 gig.
