Unlimited wifi no contract and what happened to mobley?

So I'm thinking about my upcoming 5 months snowbirding and figured I'd better get my mobley before I go. What I've found is "out of stock"; $599 and $799 plus very limited data at AT&T.

What the?

Anyway, what's the current wisdom?

I'd also be willing to consider a contract if I can suspend for 7 months of the year for a reasonable price.

PS: I have 4G+LTE built into my Silverado but the Canadian data plan is very expensive (and they won't let me register for the US data plan).
  • AT&T and other sources have been out of Mobley's for several months now, with no indication of when they may be restocking them. With the popularity of the low cost unlimited plan that's available for them, I wouldn't be surprised if they've effectively discontinued offering them. eBay usually has a few Mobleys listed at highway robbery prices though...

Looks like you can get the same great Mobley deal on AT&T's web site, not sure if you need a US address or not. Best Buy seems to not carry them any more.

  • What about straight talk
Free hot spot and 4 gb data $40.00 a month no contract.
Make sure you get a hotspot on the Verizon or At&t network
