Unlimited Internet "to the phone" really does me no good. I need internet on my computer and that's not a part of the plan.

All depends on what you want/need.

Started out with T-mobile many years ago. Would use about 5 minutes
of my allotted minutes per month. For me- - handy when I needed it, but sure didn't use it much!!

So - Have had two Tracfones for years - (for DW & self) each with over 5K minutes on 'em. Purchasing the 1 year (w/roll-over) plans for each equates to just under $9. per month for each.
(Yeah, they both have "rolled-over" a lot).
Never had any connection glitches in the US.

The Mobley is/was an alternate to high cost of internet service at my sticks and bricks - and of course - easy to take along in the RV.

Have a GM vehicle with On-Star. Don't subscribe to any of the features (like internet), as it's tough to get the vehicle inside the house - or close enough to do any good.
(Sirius XM at $5. per month is OK, however).

Different strokes for different folks.....roll on!

I signed up for att ZTE Mobley 3months ago, at the time I was told out of stock with about 4 to 6 weeks wait time. Well signed up and oked the wait 4 days later had unit in hand. They also had a strange way to set up pricing. Contract said $40 per month for about 5GBs after you get the unit you need to call (connect-car)people to change to the $20 unlimited plan.

I set it up to never shut down, I move it between boat, 3 vehicles and the house using after market usb cord.

Never saw any slow down after the 22 marker.
I got the unit free with the 2 year contract after that I can turn it on or off by the month if desired.

The problem with Onstar is that we Canajuns cannot enroll in the $20 unlimited plan. $15 gets you 1GB. $70 gets you 10GB. Absurd!

Interesting since that's basically the package AT&T sells to GM for their OnStar service. The cost of my OnStar data plan is about $20/mo just like my Mobley. There are some minor differences between OnStar and Mobley that I noticed though - OnStar roams and works on Rogers in Canada, by Mobley doesn't as I think it's limited to the US only.

Yes, the plans are very similar. The difference of course, being that the OnStar plan is limited to only those vehicles equipped with OnStar and short distance from them, while the Mobley/Connected Car unlimited plan works anywhere a suitable Mobley SIM equipped hotspot happens to be in the US.
