- TInmaniaExplorerDo you intend to use the Apple TV just for its built in apps, such as Netflix, etc., or do you want to stream content from a pc or mac with iTunes?
If just the built in apps you simply need wifi or ethernet internet access. If in conjunction with iTunes you need to have the pc or mac on the same wifi network and set to share content (ditto for Airplay from an iPad or iPhone). I would not do that with a shared RV park wifi network. I would use the park's wifi to supply Internet to a router and have the router connect to your Apple TV and mac or pc.
Michael - paulcardozaExplorerYup. We have it and use it regularly. We have a Cradlepoint MBR1400 Router which has Wifi as WAN capability. It will load balance and self manage data usage between multiple sources. We currently have Campground wifi and two hotspots connected to the Cradlepoint.
Fortunately for me, my company supplies the hotspots with pooled data plans, so I essentially have no data caps. You will need to analyze usage and determine what you will need. It can get very expensive!!!
A movie played in HD will use at least 2gb of data.
