Quick update on Valarm. I've loaded the app onto the Galaxy S3 mini. Didn't have the Temp sensor at first but the app does have setting for internal phone sensors (Motion, Shock, light, Sound). With the dogs I was interested in picking up if they were barking. You can set to email, text or both if an alarm is triggered. For sound, you can also record for a period of time after the alarm is triggered. A bit of testing trial and error but I really like this feature. After some playing around with settings I've tested on several trips out (house not RV). Works great, if the dogs bark, I get notified. Once back, I can check the saved sound files to hear what was really going on. So, an occasional single bark and every now and then both barking at something (kids across street or loud truck passing).
Will follow up more as I continue testing. Overall, I like the app. Lots of setting and potential sensors. I'm a bit of a techie so enjoy having lots of control over something like this.
