My OPINION is that plans come and go. Especially with the merging, proposed merging and competition all these carriers are experiencing.
If the phone number doesn't work, there are, to me, two options:
1- Talk to the operator they want to connect you to. (Probably a salesperson)
2- Go to a VERIZON store and make inquiries.
