5/28/2018 - I called the Jet Pack refill number(888) 294-6804), got the normal answer, then the “speak Spanish” Prompt. Instead of asking for my MiFI number, there is a clicking sound, then it dials a number which asks “what can we do for you?”. (I tried this 5 times with the same result). I say data refill, it doesn’t like it and prompts me for my pin. The problem is they want the PIN for my cell phone (5680) not the MiFi. I hung up each time. I waited about an hour and then called the refill number again. This time it worked as usual and asked for the MiFi number and then the code from the card. I gave it the $5 card and it took it, said my balance was $15 but my renewal date was still the next day. I called back after a few days and got the next renewal date.
My next renewal is due 6/29 and now you have me worried. I attributed my trouble to a Verizon computer error during a three day weekend where support staff were non existent. I sure hope it isn't a permanent thing.
