and you may get an error message later.
I used gmail from a desktop, never got the message on my phone.
Give the man a cigar, you called it. - 2oldmanExplorer IIIt's funny.. I can send these message to my phone, and when they don't work, get a ton of error messages back, day after day, but nobody notices.
I can go to Amazon and browse for a generator, and soon my FB page will be deluged with ads from generator sellers. - BarneySExplorer IIISent a message to my Verizon/Visible number from my computer using Gmail. Message came through fine on my Android phone via text message.
Barney - MrWizardModeratorI did a email text to myphonenumber@vtext.com
And it worked
I sent a test gmail email to a friend's AT&T cellphone number
(Using the info posted above)
And they received it - wa8yxmExplorer IIIThank you .. Just sent myself a mobile-number@tmomail.net (MMS)
message.. Worked. fine
There is a reason I am not a Verizon customer.. I won't bore you with the full story but ... Cuss-some-more-Service was invented by one of the companies that merged into Verizon. - 2oldmanExplorer IIThe messages are starting to work, but they're being delayed anywhere from 20 minutes to many hours. Verizon is not responding.
Getting any help at all from Google is so far, impossible. - 2oldmanExplorer II

Their customer no-service is pretty much that.

What I find perplexing is, does no one else but me, the end user, see this pile of errors? I mean, they have to be created somewhere, and nobody sees them? And help links that don't work..! - UdicomoExplorerI just came across the same problem. Any fast solutions?
- Cristian123ExplorerThis is why I switched to Boost Mobile. It runs on AT&T & T-Mobile and everything works great. Moreover, I can always call the boost mobile phone number (I found it on this website https://boost-mobile.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html) and solve any issue within a few minutes. No regrets.
