True . . after 25 GB it's unlimited, though pretty much UNUSABLE data. There are actually confirmed reports of speeds dropping down into the kpbs range (dial-up) immediately after the 26GB limit is reached.
I didn't feel like they were hiding this. It was clear when I looked into it. By contrast, with 4 devices, it would cost me $250 a month for VZW unlimited data.
However, don't try to get Verizon to add this hotspot to your plan. They have no idea. It must be through a different part of Verizon. Don't use the same email address to sign up for the FMCA plan as you use for your Verizon Wireless account. That's 6 hours of my life (on hold with VZW) that I'll never get back. I ended up scraping the whole thing and signing up using my DW's email.
