You should also check out https://archive.org/ I never had a need to stream but I have been missing the TV show Northern Exposure. I had recently bought a Fire TV and was looking around at what I might be able to use it for (cart before the horse thing). I found Archive.org and the Plex Media server and I now watch N. Exposure almost every night. They have some great stuff. I sent a small donation as I really appreciated the fact that I was no longer deprived of my favorite TV show ever! No money is required but they will ask!
