VOLT METER LOCATION FOR INSTALL?
I a thinking location of volt meter install will affect output? Is that correct? Where is a good point of installation related to distance from battery and possible drains? Does the volt meter draw...

That’s what I did in my truck camper.
My Trimetric panel is my voltmeter, plus a few other meters, and I don’t want it losing power just because I flip the main battery disconnect switch to “OFF”. The Trimetric panel and the Redarc DC-DC charger are the only things that are connected directly to the camper battery. Everything else is connected to bus bars on the other side of the battery disconnect switch.
