I have everything that matters backed-up ... I know some of you like Wdw8, but it trashes my work ... I don't know why, and keeps doing things I don't want. I've tried everything my limited knowledge knows - and even if I could operate it, and learn ONE more OS, I simply do not like the way it does its operations, and it continuously takes me places I don't want to go ...
Like I open a photo, it comes up on the screen, then does nothing, it sits, can't go back, forward, move it. So, gotta close the screen, and start over. It also converts all my Word docs to the new Word format, and insists I buy the new Word program ... not again, I've done that enough times.
So, it might be my knowledge, or it might be the way it's supposed to work, or whatever - but whatever it's doing, right or wrong, I don't like it, don't like the way it performs functions - so will go to Wdw7, and if it doesn't boot up and operate correctly, I'll get it done by a tech ... but Wdw8 will disappear from my life ... period.
