weBoost Drive 4G-S

Hi all,

This is the new version of the Wilson Sleek. Has anyone used one?

weBoost Drive 4G-S

Will a Galaxy S4 fit in the cradle?
  • Roy ty, but the site *fibs*. Apparently it does not hold some cell phones too well. It also does 1700 mhz but apparently not 2100 mhz. I'm hoping for a booster that covers both.
  • if it does one it does the other, both are needed
transmit is one band recive on the other band full duplex
do not be put off because it does not say 2100mhz

I have the old 4g lte version several years old, and my S4 fits just find
i would not expect the larger "Note" versions to fit which are really 6" tablets with a phone in them, they have 5.7" screens

the reviews ans questions at the bottom of this page say it will fit an iphone 6 plus, .. that means an S4 will fit no problem

  • Hi Mr. Wizard,

Thanks for your (cogent as always) reply.

My provider offers 1700/2100 frequencies. I'd really prefer to have both covered if I'm going to get a booster.
  • Your phone will fit fine.

What I do though is put a small piece of velcro on the back of the phone and another piece on the amp and ditch the movable wings, no need for them. Plus I put velcro on the dash boards of my cars and use them as cheapo redneck cell phone mounts. Phones have never fallen off.

  • That's the point 1700/2100
    It's both, not either or
    They always go together
The New xlte data is dual band full duplex
There is no phone, No amp that uses one of the two
Every Time that band is in use , BOTH frequencies are being utilized
One is transmit, one is receive, the amplifier had to utilize both, because the phone is using both
