weBoost question

I got a weBoost Drive 4G-X OTR and it worked great with a very low sig 1x and boosted up to 4 to full bars of 4G. Worked the same as the old one provided by the BLM for us camp hosts in Idaho. So we bought one for us as we travel. (We also have a Hughes Gen 5 Mobile satellite unit when at a place to set it up.) Now have moved to Eugene OR and had 1-2 bars of 4G without it but when I turn it on I still get about 1-2 bars of 4G.
Is it normal for it to boost a very low sig up but not a low already 4G sig.
I'm getting about -110 sig strength both with and without it.
Even at 1-2 bars of 4G speed, I get 3.5 Meg download speed at testmy.net
So it workes and still happy but just wondering.

    i have wilson weboost system and i'm on verizon

    are you saying it worked before you moved from idaho to Oregon
    or are you saying, you did not try the new weboost until you got to oregon

    If the light is green and NO red alerts, it has power and should be working
    unless something is wrong, like a bad antenna cable connection for either the outside or inside antennas

    Word I got talking to a BOOST mobile (They use among other networks Sprint) is that Sprint has been sold.. To T-mobile.. Do not know how accurate that is but it should be good news for Sprint because T-mobile's network rivals both Verizon and AT&T where as Sprint's network is smaller. like less than 1/3 the big boys.

    I have the 4G-X RV (same unit but only 50db gain) at our house where I get 2 bars and -115db signal level the weboost will get my 80db or 50db signal level depending on which channel it gets. So my experience is that it will boost signals below 100ish db. Now if you have sprint, it may not some of the bands, that's a sprint issue.

    Maybe it's a licensing issue with that local provider? I'd not worry about it until you've moved on and seen if it happens everywhere.
