What are good apps for use on tablets when traveling?

The other day when I had to get a new phone, the phone store was giving away "free" tablets. The tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0. It has cell service and supposedly GPS capability. It's free...

Candy crush will let you use the tablet. I'm old fashioned but I like to watch the road when I drive. Look at a map before you start out and then use your head. Keep the tablet and the phone, and GPS if you have one, in the glove box.
