Depends how you travel and how big of a class C.
- If you are constantly on the move and are looking at a tiny 20ft class C, it can work OK as you can fit in most parking lots and you don't have to mess about with towing a car.
- If you want 35ft class C and you stay places for a week or more, it drives a need for a car if you don't want to constantly set up and tear down. At that point, we have a preference for a towable, so you don't have to maintain 2 drive trains and you naturally have a vehicle to drive around with..
