You can also right click in the space to the right of the tabs and turn on the menu bar.

The stuff that used to be attached to the icon in the upper left corner are now in the upper right corner - that little icon that looks like 3 horizontal lines has a menu that contains a bunch of options, including Print, History, etc.

I'm finding that some of my add-ons that used to work well now don't work at all. Some don't appear in the bottom task bar even when clicking "Ctrl + /". Kind of frustrating. Will the Classic Themes Restorer enable them to work like before?

The malware patching is the only reason I updated to ff29.

This is a downgrade for ff like I have not seen in years.

They lost NASA Night Launch, but far more importantly, they seem to completely ignore how the various settings customizing screens need to work w/ lower resolutiom Windows Display settings (I really need 800x600)

Even the Blank Your Monitor addon settings screen never works for any but the highest resolution Display setting. No vision impaired user can read such small fonts as a result, yet BYM is made primarily for low vision peeps.

I sure see Linux all over this software now.

I now look at a browser as anti-virus software, and they don't even do this function well.

Sort'a reminds me of the build quality of RVs.

Gee, I got my Extra in 2006,, (Tech in 1968).. Happy DX.

The classic theme restorer got things back close enough for me. GUI doesn't need to change unless it gives you something for the effort of learning how to use it. I've used with this version about a week and haven't found it worth it.

It seems to be a change for the sake of change. Maybe they are learning from Windows.
