To "restore" a computer, it goes back to the way it was when you bought the computer. You will lose all of the programs and files you put in since you bought it. Most likely you would want to "revert" you computer to a time before you had a problem. Depending on what computer you have, you can try to click on the round Microsoft icon in the lower left of your screen. Click help and support, then type either "revert" or "restore" in the ribbon. An explanation will appear, with options to take you to what you want to do.
