Mr. Google is one of the worst offenders when it comes to tracking you and taking advantage of the information collected by your searches. In recent months, I've also noticed that going to a link via Google is slower, so something additional must be working more in the background to track your linking.

Thus, I'm also a DuckDuckGo fan for web searches https://duckduckgo.com/
