If I run up on a traffic jam, I'll never again listen to the phone/GPS when it tells me it's found an alternate route to avoid the jam. I did that once but the problem is a thousand other people did the same thing. The roads it directed me to kept getting smaller and smaller with more and more congestion. About an hour later, when I finally got back to the Interstate, the jam had long been cleared and traffic was moving at normal speed. Like I said, never again! I'll pull over if it's that bad and grab a nap or a sandwich (maybe both!).
