I replaced all my TVs with HD screens and sat boxes , added Blue Ray DVD, SENSAR OTA Amp. I already had a Panasonic Surround Sound amp that had a optical sound input and I made sure the new TV had an optical sound out. I ran HDMI from all devices to the front tv. The Sensar is coax to the OTA input. So i use the tv remote to change inputs but never have to change the amp input. Simple enough and a big improvement. I never use park cable but if I did I would add an AB switch to split the antenna. I use Directv and a tripod for sat.
On edit, you need to make sure your tv has plenty of HDMI Inputs. I do the same at home.
