I personally like Firefox the best. It's the least hassle free. Seems the other 2 wants to do updates all the time and every update means my setting have to be set, and reset, and changed and manipulated again.
Chrome seems to be one of "the other 2" but your description of problems with updates and settings are totally foreign to me, never had either problem with years of Chrome use. What platform are you having these problems on. I don't use Chrome much on my phone, but on my desktop, laptop and tablet my experience is completely different from yours.
