Which browser with Windows 8
I have a new computer that runs Windows 8, which I expect to upgrade to 8.1. My tech guy recommends Chrome, but I really dislike the fact that there is no sidebar I can dock on the left of the browse...

Chrome is my default browser because I use so many Google services - gmail, picasa, blogger, etc. With one chrome login I'm logged into everything.
I also use IE any time I have an issue with Chrome - everything has issues occasionally. I also use IE whenever I want to go to a website without being logged in to my google account.
I think 8.1 is a wonderful upgrade to Windows 8. It adds just a couple of small things (X to close a window, Power button to shut down, boot directly to desktop) which take away most all of the frustration with the new interface.
