Which dash cam to buy??

I bought a kdlink dash cam on ebay a few years ago. It was recommended by users on the full timers forum. It works.

The wide angle view common to most all dash cams includes the hood or lots of sky - depending on how the cam is mounted.

Just went to Amazon and read the negative reviews about Rexing...because that’s all there is!
Perhaps I’m cautious because I sure am disappointed with the Garmin I bought last winter. It makes lots of mistakes.

Not sure what you are looking at but when I go to Amz and look at my model it shows reviews from over 7k folks
5 star - 65%
4 star - 21%
3 star - 4$
2 star - 3%
1 star - 7%

Looked like a pretty good sight picture to me. I don't think there would be anything gained by moving the camera. Other than an additional rear facing cam this one captured anything necessary to prove or disprove an incident.

I have a YI and am happy with it and you can get an app to down load to your phone and it will take a 64gb card.

Well after the above comments I had my heart set on a Rexing. Went to Best Buy and they didn’t have this brand. So looked over what they had and left the store without buying. To confusing. Maybe I’m over thinking this.

We have the BlackView DR750S-1CH that mounts behind the rearview mirror and is out of sight from the drivers seat. It works just fine.
I would also do a Google search for the available dash cams out there.

I have a Mini 801, it is mounted between the windshield and rearview mirror. It is very small and not visible from drivers seat, 16 gig micro SD add gives 6 hours of recording in 1 minute clips. Wired to come on when truck is running.
