Which GPS Unit?
I may be interested in a GPS device, but don't own a smartphone. Can anyone recommend a stand-alone unit that doesn't require a smart phone? Thanks.

If you know the difference between a Pilot gas station and a Mobil, consider the Garmin Nuvi 3597 lmthd. It's about $320 at BestBuy, has a 5 inch pinch-to-zoom screen, 9 mm thin as a cellphone with all the bells and whistles like voice-activated navigation, bluetooth, traffic and weather, etc. Best of all is its magnetic mount, just pull it down and take it away - no annoying cords to mess with when removing just the unit. We also have a 1450 and another older Nuvi, and this is worth the extra cost in our estimation.
