Why are GPS units so much trouble.
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 5 or so years ago that worked most of the time,but occasionally went beserk.On our Christmas trip to South Carolina,it routed us one way going south and another way going north....

We have learned (the hard way) to click on the top bar so a list appears detailing the entire route. Then we can evaluate if that is the way we want to go. We have a Garmin Nuvi and the routes given are for cars so we have to modify that sometimes.
