Why are GPS units so much trouble.
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 5 or so years ago that worked most of the time,but occasionally went beserk.On our Christmas trip to South Carolina,it routed us one way going south and another way going north....

I have found they all have the quirks. My wife always complained that her Garmin would take one way to her destination and a different route back. Have had them insist I go down a no longer existing road. It is always good to check the route they suggest against a real map or other device.
