Why are GPS units so much trouble.
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 5 or so years ago that worked most of the time,but occasionally went beserk.On our Christmas trip to South Carolina,it routed us one way going south and another way going north....

Had a TomTom once.
Used it for about 6months.
Had to keep referring to paper maps to verify directions.
Then someone stole it.
Never replaced it.
Never regretted not having one.
