Why are GPS units so much trouble.
I bought a Garmin Nuvi 5 or so years ago that worked most of the time,but occasionally went beserk.On our Christmas trip to South Carolina,it routed us one way going south and another way going north....

The eTrex series Garmin GPS receivers will store a "crumb trail" to enable you to get back to your starting point.
