Any GPS is only as good as the map data fed into it. And that data may or may not contain complete and practical information. We volunteered at a Florida SP that had a county road run straight through it - on paper. It was a plotted road from years and years ago but now ends in a pasture field with several large wet/swap areas that the 'road' passed through. Use the GPS, but also check out 'paper' or online maps too.
