If you did a factory reset on the phone it would speed it up considerably. Also you could have bought a new phone and kept unlimited. The guy at the verizon store showed me how. Just buy the phone for your other line than go back and switch it to the line with the unlimited data. Then you can keep your unlimited plan. Also, foxfi is the app that let's you make any phone a hotspot even without that option from verizon. pdanet doesn't work that great.
