what do you mean the small TV is not HD
if it is a NEW TV it is to HiDef
HD is not large or small, its the format 16:9 and at least 720p resolution
with ATSC digital tuner
analog tuners don't work anymore, there is nothing being broadcast on Analog from any major network,
maybe from a few remote repeaters, in faraway places, but they have to receive HD and convert it
