donn0128: re signal - that is the problem, for some reason the receivers see no signal. Nada. At first I got the 771 error then once I got a 775 error. But no signal. The power is reaching the wire connected to the LNB (I use a short one from the LNB with a union to the main coax). The main coax connects to the RV cable-in (which I successfully used for Dish in the past) and that goes to the power inserter's power to LNB connector. From there I have a short coax to the splitter (which I have since removed) and then to the receiver. With the splitter removed, the line from the 'to IRD' output on the power inserter is connected directly to the HR44 receiver (PVR). The HR44 works, but cannot see the incoming signal. All of the transponders register '0' - I am not certain which of the selections I should use - the system keeps changing to 17 SWM My SWM-3 is SL3S4NR5-01 if any of that helps. The dish is Slimline. Like I said - all of it 'looks' just like what I have on my house.
