You are talking about WiFi for TV for watching Netflix and such? If so, You will need a lot. When I was sent to engineer school in Atlanta, the hotel I was put up in had terrible WiFi. Luckily, my rooted phone and unlimited data (at that time) proved valuable. I used 30 to 40 GB of data that month, and I didn't watch much Netflix.
Many companies offer WiFi hotspots which connect to their cellular network. Cost goes up as a company that has more coverage, reliability, and speed goes up. A lot of people talk about the Wally World hotspot, so that is one to look into. I personally like Verizon, as they have proven to me to be reliable and great coverage.
