I have the mobile version of this. It greatly improved the signal but my phone had to be within a foot of the inside antenna. I wonder what the range is of the dt4g inside antenna? I would like to swap systems so I don't have to put the phone in a cradle all the time. The amp is mounted about 3 feet from the antenna (trucker antenna) and I had no issues at all from it shutting itself down.
