Talk about FUD. "I have heard nothing but bad about win 10".
So i guess you have heard from the 50 million users? That number is from an independant source. Maybe you dont know how to do a search to find the many computer sources that do like 10.
If you weed out the paid for sponsor stories I've found far more negative posts than positive. Those that are new to PC's and have little to no prior use of Win XP or 7 tend to like 10 because its far better than 8. Those that have lots of experience with other OS's seem to prefer Win 7. All of this is personal opinion, just like yours is. Win 10 is new and MS is pushing it hard. We shall see.
Thank you -- and you're spot on. I'm a long time computer user -- used to teach computer. I'll admit some of this new stuff has me stumped, however, I WILL say that ANY new version of ANY program is suspect to me. I never download a new version until it's been proven for quite some time. And you're right about the "paid sponsors". I stand by my earlier comment....I'll be avoiding it. If anyone wants to listen to me, that's fine. If anyone wants to download it, that's fine, too. As you say, it's my opinion. As for those that have had good luck...WONDERFUL!
