We had one issue with our Canon MP495: It would print, but the scan function didn't want to work. (I didn't check any other functions.) Downloaded the new driver for the printer from Canon, and now all's well.

Are you sure?...you might be able to down load the latest driver update for your printer directly from Canon..then it might be compatible.
