You can change the search engine in Edge but it's not obvious how to do it. You have to have the page for the search engine you want to add open in a tab of the browser, then it will show up in the Settings as a selection for the Search engine. For instance, go to www.google.com in a tab of the Edge browser, then open Settings and go to Advanced Settings. Within there is an option "Search in the address bar with Bing" click on the Change button and, provided you have google.com displayed in a browser tab, you will now be able to select google as the search engine and make it the default
